A compliance score your primes and the DoD can look up (your SPRS score) that's gone stale, or was never submitted at all.
A prime, a renewal, or a deadline that just made this urgent again.

Every month it sits, the distance between where the paperwork says you are and where the work actually stands gets wider, and harder to reconstruct. The people who remember the decisions get fewer. And when a prime or an assessor asks for your status, "we started but paused" is a harder conversation than it needs to be. Picking it back up now, while the context is still recoverable, costs a fraction of rebuilding it cold.
